Power Up

The Crown only has one power button. If the Crown has a very low battery, you'll need to plug in the charger. To turn Crown on, press and hold the power button for two (2) seconds.

The Crown will take a few minutes to power up. When the Crown has finished starting the OS, the LED will begin pulsing yellow if it's charging or green if it's fully charged.

If your device is unplugged and ready to go, the status LED is solid white.

When the Crown is low on battery and you plug in the charger, the Crown will automatically begin to begin charging, if the Crown battery was dead, it may need a few minutes on the charger before safely turning on.

If the LED flashes, such as once per second, unplug, replug the charger, and immediately hold the power button for six seconds. A more powerful charger like a MacBook charger can take the Crown out of this state.

Powering Off

Press and hold the power button for two seconds for a safe shutdown.

The status LED will turn red for about 60 seconds.

If the LEDs stay on for over a minute, you can perform a hard shutdown by holding the power button for six seconds.

Safe shutdowns are recommended instead of hard shutdowns.

Charging

If you wish to charge your Crown, please use the charger included. You can view your Crown's battery percentage on the Neurosity App or the Console. While charging, the Crown may not be worn or used.

The Crown's status LED will show a pulsing yellow light while charging.
