Placing Crown on a Head

The Crown does not fit on every head the same, but it does fit all heads.

The Crown must be placed at an angle for proper adherence to heads. Notice how the Crown is positioned on AJ's head. It's at almost a 45-degree angle, with the back of the Crown right near the Crown of AJ's head.

First-time users often put the back of the Crown too low, and the frontmost electrodes fail to make contact with the scalp.

Please look at this video from our YouTube tutorials for a more in-depth how-to on wearing the Crown.

Extending Crown

Our rule with extending the Crown is that if you're feeling too much pressure, extend the Crown, and that will help reduce some of the pressure. We have also seen that too much expansion can result in more pressure, so tune the expansion mechanisms to your own personal feel.

With two hands, use one hand to grab the back of the Crown and the other to grab the wing.

Pull the two sections apart, following the curve of the Crown, and you'll feel the Crown's wind start to click.
